Barb White Adkins was born in Kimberly, Wisconsin and is the middle child of five sisters. Her parents owned and operated a construction company (alas, no boys in the family!) so it's safe to say that Barb was raised in a hard-working, entrepreneurial environment all her life. After completing her first undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Barb earned her second degree in Nursing at George Mason University. She distinguished herself in the medical field by moving quickly from a “floor nurse” to the Assistant Director of the Intensive Care and Progressive Care units at Mt. Vernon Hospital.

Jennifer White Johnston was born in Lafayette, Indiana and moved to the East Coast shortly thereafter where she has lived most of her life. She grew up in Northern Virginia and attended the University of South Carolina where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (a nice segway into Real Estate!). Jennifer has earned a reputation as one who is committed to ensuring the best interests of her clients, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her customers peace of mind and satisfaction. She is a Real Estate Expert for HGTV (Home and Garden TV), part of the Discovery Channel Network. You can see Jennifer as a Featured Agent on Season 1 and 3 of the Prime Time Television Show, "Get It Sold!". Get It Sold shows sellers how small changes to your home can bring in thousands on your sales price, and she has utilized this knowledge in her Real Estate Career.

Both Barb and Jenny began their individual real estate careers with separate companies, but they quickly realized they wanted to pool their resources, and within a short period of time they became the unique Mother Daughter Team at Re/Max 100.  They specialize in residential real estate and serve sellers and buyers all over Northern Virginia. Barb & Jenny have both obtained designation as an Accredited Buyer Representative, an honor earned by less than 10% of agents nationwide. They have both graduated from the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI), a year long program, signifying advanced training in all aspects of real estate. Their team qualifies each year for the Top Producer Club of America, Multi-Million Dollar Club, ReMax Platinum Award and recently, they were inducted into the ReMax Hall of Fame. Barb has been recognized as the # 14 ranking ReMax Agent in the State of Virginia. More important to Barb and Jenny than winning awards, is the joy and satisfaction they derive from helping people in the buying and selling of their homes. Since 1979, the Northern Virginia area has been home to Barb and Jenny. When they are not working, they enjoy reading, outdoor activities, travel, and of course, spending time together!
